The sampling time is 2015-2016, and the area is qanu area, gongcuomai Township, Gangdese, Tibet. The rock samples include 13 diorite and 14 gabbro. This data provides a key limit for understanding the initial subduction time of the Neotethys ocean, and limits the initial subduction time of the Neotethys ocean to 255-214 Ma, which is of great significance for exploring the tectonic evolution of the Tethys. The major and trace elements in the whole rock samples were measured by fluorescence spectrometer (XRF) and plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), zircon U-Pb dating by laser ablation plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS), mineral chemistry by electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), and zircon in-situ Hf isotope by multi receiver inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC – ICP – MS), The testing units include the State Key Laboratory of metallogenic mechanism of endogenetic metal deposits in Nanjing University and the Key Laboratory of deep geodynamics, Ministry of natural resources, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. Therefore, the vulnerability of village disasters and comprehensive risk prevention capability have gradually become an important topic of disaster prevention and disaster mitigation in rural areas. This data is from a random questionnaire survey conducted in Xiamachang Village, Meixing Town, Xiaojin County, Dashiban Village, Huiping Town, Mianning County, Sichuan Province, and Qina Village, Qina Town, Yongsheng County, Yunnan Province, from August to September, 2020. And the interviewees are mainly adults who is familiar with family situations. The design of the questionnaire is based on the principles of scientific nature, applicability, feasibility, typicality and concreteness. And Questionnaire on Disaster Risk Prevention Ability and Social Vulnerability of Villages in the Hengduan Mountain Area is designed for individual villages in the Hengduan Mountain Area. In order to ensure the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, some questionnaire was pre-investigated before the formal investigation, and there were some modification and improvement about the problem founded. Also, before the formal questionnaire survey, the investigators were given an explanation of the questionnaire and the training of the survey skills. 171 questionnaires were completed in this survey. After eliminating 20 invalid questionnaires, 151 valid questionnaires were obtained, including 50 from Xiamachang Village, 39 from Dashiban Village and 62 from Qina Village, respectively. The effective rate of questionnaires was 88.3%.

    The dataset of water quality investigation in the urbanized area of Tibetan Plateau mainly includes the investigation data of water quality in the Huangshui River Basin and other key urban areas of Tibetan Plateau. The data were collected during July-August, 2020, by Hash DR900 water quality monitor. The datasets include the measured water quality of each reach of the Huangshui River, and the upstream and downstream of rivers that flow through major towns on the Tibetan Plateau. The main parameters include: total nitrogen, total phosphorus, ammonia nitrogen, chemical oxygen demand, dissolved oxygen content, pH, hardness, turbidity and chroma. To note, the chemical indexes (total nitrogen, total phosphorus, ammonia nitrogen, chemical oxygen demand) were determined in the laboratory after the scientific expedition, and the time interval between sample collection and water quality determination is too long to sustain the original content of ammonia nitrogen, thus the ammonia nitrogen of some water samples were not measured. In addition, due to the budget restriction, only water samples from the river outlet of towns on the plateau were allowed to measure the chemical indexes. Our dataset will support the study of optimizing the ecological security barrier system and validating ecohydrological models in the key urbanized areas of the Tibetan Plateau.
