Database of macrofungi in Alpine and Gorge Region of southwest China


This database contains 1,487 distribution records of ca. 800 species of macrofungi reported and investigated in Alpine and Gorge Region of southwest China since the 21st century, involving 4 provinces and 39 counties, namely Qinghai (10 records), Sichuan (949 records), Tibet (448 records) and Yunnan (80 records). The data mainly come from the accumulation of long-term field work carried out by the project and domestic famous plant related websites, such as Hengduanshan biodiversity database. The data set includes species name, genus name, family name, order name, class name, distribution province and county of macrofungi in this region. This data has preliminarily found out the current diversity and distribution of macrofungi in Alpine and Gorge Region of southwest China, which provides a solid data basis for macrofungi protection, planning and sustainable utilization of macrofungi resources.


File naming and required software

The data is stored in Excel format, and the name of the file is "large fugus distribution database" xlsx”。
The file can be opened directly with Excel 2007 or later.
