Bird data along Zhamo Highway in Medog and Bome counties (2018)

The birds along the Zhamo Highway in Medog and Bome counties are investigated by mist net method and point count method. According to the 400-meter elevation span, elevation transects were set up in the survey area. Four elevation transects are set up in the north slope from Gangcun to Galong Temple in Bome County, from low to high, and nine elevation transects are set up in the south slope from Jiefang Bridge to Galongla in Medog County. So that we can make a breakthrough understanding the formation and maintenance mechanism of bird diversity in this region. The data of bird diversity and distribution will be used to further explore the key scientific issues such as the impact of climate change on bird diversity and adaptation strategies, and the response and protection strategies of bird species diversity under the global climate change.

Grading map of agricultural suitability on the Tibet Plateau

This study takes the land resources in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as the evaluation object, and clarifies the current situation in the region suitable for agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry production and the quantity, quality and distribution of the reserve land resources. Through field investigations, collect relevant data from the study area, and combine relevant literature and expert experience to determine the evaluation factors (altitude, slope, annual precipitation, accumulated temperature, sunshine hours, soil effective depth, texture, erosion, vegetation type, NDVI). The grading and standardization are carried out, and the weights of each evaluation factor are determined by principal component analysis. The weighted index and model are used to determine the total score of the evaluation unit. Finally, the ArcGis natural discontinuity classification method is used to obtain the Qingshang Plateau. And the grades of farmland, forestry and grassland suitability drawings of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with a resolution of 90m were given. Finally, the results are verified and analyzed.

Source region of the Yangtze River - land cover and vegetation type ground verification point dataset

The dataset is the ground verification point dataset of land cover and vegetation type in the Source Region of the Yangtze River (in the south of Qinghai Province) which collected during August 2018. In the dataset, the homogeneous patches are considered as the main targets of this collection. They are easy to be recognized out and distinguished from other vegetation types. And these samples have high representativeness comparing with other land surface features. In each sample, the geographical references, longitude and latitude (degree, minute, second), time (24h) and elevation (0.1m) are recorded firstly according to GPS positioning. Vegetation types, constructive species, characteristics, land types and features, landmarks, etc. are recorded into the property table manually for checking in laboratory. At last, each sample place has been taken at least 1 photography. In this dataset, 90% or more samples have been taken 2 or more in field landscape photographs for land use type and vegetation classification examination. We have carefully examined the position accuracy of each sample in Google Earth. After 2 rounds of checking and examination, the accuracy and reliability of the property of each sample have been guaranteed.

Land use data of Bishkek, with a resolution of 30 meters, was in the form of TIF and the time was 1990.03.30 and 2018.04.12, respectively.Data source GLC, the raw data of its global land cover data comes from Envisat satellite and is captured by MERIS (Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer) sensor.There are currently two issues, GlobCover (Global Land Cover Map) and GlobCover (Global Land Cover Product).

DEM data of economic corridors in Silk Road

DEM data of economic corridors in Silk Road can reflect the altitude of the six economic corridors, the unit is meter(m). The spatial resolution of the data is 0.016 degrees, which is about 1.8km. The longitude range is 12.09°E-180°, and the latitude range is 10.99°S-90°N. The source is derived from the Global Relief Model built by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States (NOAA). The range is cut by the border of the Silk Road. This data is one of the basic data necessary to assess the risks of natural disasters (including debris flows, landslides, flash floods, etc.) in the six economic corridors. The application frequency will be high and the prospects will be broad.
