This data set includes six data files, which are: (1) soil temperature and moisture data of alpine meadow elevation gradient_ Dangxiong, Tibet (2019-2020). This data is the hourly observation data of temperature and water content at different soil depths (5cm and 20cm) of the alpine meadow at 4400m, 4500m, 4650m, 4800m, 4950m and 5100m above sea level in Dangxiong, Tibet during 2019-2020. (2) Meteorological environment data of Sejila Mountain Forest line_ Linzhi, Tibet (2019), the data is the hourly meteorological environment (including wind speed, air temperature 1 m away from the surface, relative humidity 1 m away from the surface, air temperature 3 m away from the surface, relative humidity 3 m away from the surface, atmospheric pressure, total radiation, net radiation, photosynthetically active radiation, 660 nm) of the forest line of Sejila Mountain in Linzhi, Tibet in 2019 Hourly observation data of red light radiation, 730nm infrared radiation, surface temperature, atmospheric long wave radiation, surface long wave radiation, underground 5cm-20cm-60cm heat flux, underground 5cm-20cm-60cm soil temperature and humidity, rainfall and snow thickness, among which some observation data are missing due to equipment power failure in plateau area, which has been explained in the data. (3) NDVI of vegetation at major meteorological stations_ In the Qinghai Tibet Plateau (2020), NDVI survey data and average values of vegetation near 25 meteorological stations are included. (4) Land use survey data set_ Along the Sichuan Tibet Railway (2019), including 35 survey points along the Sichuan Tibet railway land use survey data, including survey time, location, latitude and longitude, altitude, slope aspect, main vegetation types and dominant species. (5) Leaf area index survey data_ The leaf area index (LAI) of main vegetation types along Sichuan Tibet Railway (2019) was measured by SunScan canopy analyzer and lai-2200. (6) Survey data of soil temperature and humidity_ Along the Sichuan Tibet Railway (2019), including 34 survey points along the Sichuan Tibet Railway: location, longitude and latitude, altitude, soil surface temperature, soil moisture at 30cm, the data were recorded as 3 repeated measurements at each survey point. The data set can be used to analyze and study the change law of vegetation environment in Qinghai Tibet Plateau.
The data is the digitization of the Heihe River basin part of the 1:1 million Vegetation Atlas of China, 1:1000, 000 Vegetation Atlas of China is edited by academician Hou Xueyu, a famous vegetation ecologist (Hou Xueyu, 2001). It is jointly compiled by more than 250 experts from 53 units such as research institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences, relevant ministries and commissions, relevant departments of various provinces and regions, colleges and universities. It is another summative achievement of vegetation ecologists in China over 40 years after the publication of monographs such as vegetation of China Basic map of natural resources and natural conditions of the family. It is based on the rich first-hand information accumulated by vegetation surveys carried out throughout the country over the past half century, and the materials obtained by modern technologies such as aerial remote sensing and satellite images, as well as the latest research achievements in geology, soil science and climatology. It reflects in detail the distribution of vegetation units of 11 vegetation type groups, 796 formations and sub formations of 54 vegetation types, horizontal and vertical zonal distribution laws, and also reflects the actual distribution of more than 2000 dominant species of plants, major crops and cash crops in China, as well as the close relationship between dominant species and soil and ground geology. The atlas is a kind of realistic vegetation map, reflecting the recent quality of vegetation in China.
The dataset includes the chlorophyll content of vegetation in different site which has different types of vegetation, acquired on 8 July, 2012, in order to validate the Chlorophyll products. Observation instruments: Sampling, Acetone extraction method Measurement methods: To analyze the influence height on chlorophyll , we select 12 different corn samples based on the height of corn. To compare the chlorophyll content of different types of vegetation, we also select 3 types of vegetation sample on the first EC tower, 1 beans sample near the seventeenth EC tower and 3 reed samples on wetland. A total of selected 19 different samples are analyzed in the laboratory in the College of Life Science, Hexi. We extract chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, the content of total chlorophyll of selected samples. The dataset contains vegetation type and plant structure in the middle reaches of the Heihe River Basin, which was used to validate products from remote sensing. It was generated from investigating the land cover strips of CASI and SASI the middle reaches of the Heihe River Basin between 25 June and 6 August in 2012. Instruments: High-precision handheld GPS (2-3 m) and digital camera were used as main tools in the survey. Measurement method: Vegetation range in the middle reaches of the Heihe River Basin and survey route could be decided with the help of Google Earth. Wuxing village in Xiaoman town was selected to survey detailed and other places were investigated as far to reach as possible. Main methods were to write down the longitude and latitude, phenology of the plant structure, take photos for the vegetation. Dataset contains: longitude and latitude, vegetation type, area and phenology. Observation Place: CASI flight area in artificial oasis in the middle reaches, CASI stripe flight area in the middle reaches and Zhangye district. Date: From 25 June and 6 August in 2012.
The dataset consists of three parts: part 1, survey data of plant plots from 7 tributaries of the upper Shiyan River Basin and the Qingtu Lake in the Qilian Mountains from August 16,2018 to August 30 ,2018; part 2, survey data of plant plots in the main tributaries of Heihe River and Shule River Basins from 2018.9.25 to 2018.10.3 ; part 3, survey data of plant plots in Qinghai Lake and Heihe River Basin from August 18, 2013 to August 8, 2018. The first part involves the growth characteristics and quantity information of herbs, shrubs and trees; the second part mainly investigates trees and only gives a rough estimate of herbs; the third part mainly investigates meadow vegetation. The three-part survey sets up plots based on vegetation types, and at least 3 plots (sub-trees, shrubs, and herbs) are selected for each plot. Among them, the herbaceous aspect product is 1m×1m or 0.5m×0.5m; the desert shrub-like product is 10m×10m; the forest shrub area is 2m×2m; the shrub shrub area is 4m×4m; the arbor-like aspect product is 20m. ×20m. Plant community survey in each sample: the arbor sample survey mainly investigated the number of species, species abundance, 20 arbor trees per wooden ruler (including plant height, DBH, crown width, live branch height), within the sample The diameter of all arbor; the shrub-like method mainly investigated the species number, abundance, shrub crown and shrub plant height of all shrubs; the herb sample mainly investigated the number, degree or coverage of the herbaceous species, average plant height, total coverage, Aboveground biomass.
